This model
of the Flying Sub from "Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea" was built for
a customer from the extremely crude but rather large and expensive Lunar
Models kit. It is made from heavy vacuformed plastic and roughly cast resin
parts. A lot of filling and sanding was necessary before the model could
be painted with automotive laquers. The model actually looked better in
real life than it does in these photos, but one would be better off buying
the smaller but more accurately done Monogram kit.
